Welcome to The 2020 Snow Globes!
A note from the showcase Organaizero, Daniel Fulton
Welcome to the first ever, Snow Globes: Student Showcase. The showcase’s purpose is to highlight the media that students have created while at the University of Colorado Boulder. It’s an unfortunate reality that students create work, often forgotten after it is submitted for a grade. Students move onto the next project and professors archive their work with hundreds of other assignments. And now due to COVID-19, the vibrant, artistic community at CU has faced challenges and deserves even more recognition during this time. This is why I set out to develop the Snow Globes with The Bold. I wanted to provide the platform to champion the creative community at the university.
The Snow Globes is a showcase for students, run by students, making it the first and only showcase of its kind at the school. This is the first of many showcases to come and eventually will become a cornerstone of the creative arts at CU Boulder. Enjoy the Snow Globes!
P.S.
Thank you to the team at The Bold who helped bring this project to life! Nikki, Nathan, Hannah, Grace and everyone else who helped… you guys are awesome! – Daniel Fulton
