Who We Are: We provide high-quality, student-created content for CU Boulder students and the community. We are a student-led organization, with junior and senior mentors to collaborate and help foster ideas, as well as professional advisors to provide guidance and oversight.
General Responsibilities
- Responsibilities are tentative depending upon your specialized section. Overall, we are looking for content creators to collaborate and provide support to the Editorial Team and Advisors in all elements of research, reporting, timelines, budgets, design and execution. Staff writers and contributors may report independently or collaboratively for The Bold.
- Basic support of social media and communications efforts will be the responsibility of social media and marketing teams, which will be non-reporting positions.

- 1 credit / 40 hours, maximum of 120 hours per semester.

Semester Requirements:
- Bi-weekly staff meetings during the semester (Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the CASE building)
- Monthly staff meetings during the summer
Staff Writer Position
- 4 stories per semester
- 2 pieces for your beat
- Beats: Arts & Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Campus/Community News, Intersectionality, Environment, COVID-19, Podcast/Audio
- 2 pieces you are free to explore
Contributing Writer Position
- 1-2 stories per semester
