Want to join The Bold?
Students in the JRNL 3000 Intermediate Reporting class write and report stories for The Bold. We also accept pieces from students outside of the class, but note, there is no guarantee that your story will be published. Still, send it along and if it meets our journalism standards and principles, you might get published. Contributors must be full-time students enrolled at CU Boulder.
Want to be an editor?
If you have completed the JRNL 3000 Intermediate Reporting class and feel confident in your reporting and AP Style writing skills, you can be an editor at The Bold. Journalism students currently enrolled at CU Boulder must first receive permission from the course instructor before enrolling in CMDI 3910 Practicum. Editors receive three units course credit and a stipend.
Who We Are
We are a class of practicing journalists working to perfect our research, writing and reporting skills under the guidance of a journalism instructor. We create stories and other content relevant to CU Boulder students and the campus community.
Contributing to The Bold
Would you like to get published? If you have a story idea, pitch it to us and we’ll consider your story for publication. Contributing writers must be full-time enrolled students at CU Boulder in any major.
