Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg left a legacy for not only women but for all of those who seek equal rights. Ginsburg’s work against gender discrimination and for unity of courts was framed by the adversities faced throughout all of her life. Ginsburg let these adversities be her driving force and gave her the ability to change society as a whole.

“Justice Ginsburg was an inspiration to many women lawyers, myself included,” said Brett E. Landis, Boulder County managing attorney. “Her work opened doors for women like me to have the careers we have. Studying her work, both as an attorney and as a justice, is incredibly beneficial, and it leads to a more complete understanding of constitutional law and our judicial system generally.”
Ruth Bader Ginsburg fearlessly battled the injustices and inequalities rooted in society. She challenged her peers, and co-workers on the court, creating room for equal laws. Ginsburg was not afraid to stand for what she believed in and gave justice and voice to those who could not defend themselves.
Ginsburg said she’d like to be remembered as,”Someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability. And to help repair tears in her society, to make things a little better through the use of whatever ability she has.”
