One suspect injured in late night University Hill shooting
A suspect has been hospitalized and an officer has been placed on leave after the incident.
Boulder Police responded to a report around 1:27 a.m. Sunday morning regarding a disturbance with gunfire in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to the Boulder Police Department, officers encountered armed individuals actively shooting when they arrived at the scene. One officer fired his gun at a suspect, and an adult man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No officers were injured during this interaction. An officer has been placed on leave.
