The Bold on the Big Screen: Episode 5

The Bold on the Big Screen presents the Favorites Episode! This episode is meant to be a belated holiday celebration where the hosts gift each other their favorite movies. Tornquist chose the sci-fi, thriller The Thing—directed by John Carpenter, and Nichols chose the feminist comedy Nine to Five—directed by Colin Higgins. Both hit the big screens in the early 1980s, but that is where the similarities between these movies end. 

Tornquist and Sarina split the episode in half to talk about their favorite movies. They discuss what makes each movie so special and pivotal for both genres, and they confess the pressures of sharing their favorite movies with other people.
