The Blues Brothers, directed by John Landis, hit the big screen on June 20, 1980. The titular characters, who were spawned in the writer’s room in the early days of Saturday Night Live, go on an epic musical journey where they meet many familiar faces along the way. At over 42-years-old, The Blues Brothers continues to be a cult classic, and a favorite among a whole collection of devoted fans. 

In this episode, Tornquist and Nichols are joined by their very first guest, graduating CU student Zoe Schacht. The three of them unpack how the movie impacted them, what makes the movie so special, and why it has remained a staple in American cinema.
