Shots fired at Boulder's Millennium Hotel; Suspect in custody

Shots were fired at the Millennium Hotel on 28th Street on Monday morning.
Officers have taken an adult male suspect into custody, without incident, and are working on sequencing the series of events.
According to Boulder Police, there is evidence of multiple shots were fired inside the hotel room the suspect was staying in and police have since confirmed the health and safety of all hotel occupants.
Additionally, multiple firearms were recovered from the room, though the types of weapons have not been disclosed.
No information is available regarding other people in the room. There are no reported fatalities or injuries from the event. The suspect is being taken for medical evaluation and then will be transported to further law enforcement custody.
The Safeway on 28th St. has been barricaded and access to the store has been restricted in order to ensure resources for the appropriate response to the scene.
Law enforcement has lifted the shelter in place restriction and deemed that there is no threat to campus, and is preparing to give the all clear notice. However, citizens are asked to avoid the area.
