An Unfamiliar Home

By Madeleine Kriech

What’s it like to not recognize a place you call home? Walking around my college campus isn’t what it used to be. There are no crowds between classes or a lunch rush at the dining hall. The smiling faces are now hidden behind masks and computer screens. This photo story explores what it’s like on a barren campus. For almost four years, I’ve explored the nooks and crannies my campus has to offer and now my favorite spots are left empty. Through these photos, I hope you catch a glimpse at what a once lively and rowdy place now is: lonely and quiet. Albeit unfamiliar, I still call it home.
